Fenerbahçe was defeated 3-1 by Rangers FC in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League Round of 16. Fenerbahçe’s only goal came in the 30th minute from Alexander Djiku, while Rangers FC scored through Cyriel Dessers in the 6th minute, Václav Cerny in the 42nd minute, and again Cerny in the 81st minute. The return leg will be played on Thursday, March 13, in Scotland.
