Hosting the 2024 European Championship, Germany played against Hungary in Stuttgart Arena. Dominating the game with the enthusiastic support of the German fans, the Panzer team took the lead in the 22nd minute when Jamal Musiala scored off an assist from Ilkay Gündoğan, making it 1-0.
Captain Ilkay Gündoğan, who assisted the first goal, doubled the lead for his team in the 67th minute with a shot inside the penalty area, bringing the score to 2-0. Despite Hungary’s increased attacks, the final score remained unchanged.
